I was called out to record at the Beauty Bar by Matthew of the somewhat fresh Vinyl Radio.  The show was on August 18, 2006 and these guys were on!  Great chops and a great sound, though my only problem for the evening was that Matt was eating his microphone the whole night, which made for some very interesting vocals.

Recording Notes

This recording was pretty straight forward:  4 vocal tracks, a stereo telecaster, lead guitar/keyboard channel, bass rig, snare, kick, tom, floor tom and overhead mic and a room mic for good measure.  As I mentioned, the frightening bit about this recording was the singer's use of the microphone.
